I am Agustina Luissi, the person behind Amarú. I work by hand with 925 silver, with attention to detail, dedication, and respect for the materials. 
I aim for conscious, sustainable, and responsible production. I use refined silver from discarded pieces, seeking to reduce environmental impact and add value to recovered materials.
The packaging is designed to be useful without generating waste.
My pieces are characterized by careful design, quality finishes, and an aesthetic that combines organic and structural elements.
I am mainly inspired by nature and my travels, but any excuse is good to start sketching.
I believe in design as a language and in jewelry as a way to tell stories and forge identity.

My hands shape each of the pieces I offer.
I work directly with the metal, from melting the silver to create the alloy, through rolling, drawing, piercing, filing, soldering, grinding, and finally polishing.

 

I also work with lost wax casting, outsourcing the micro-casting. This technique allows for different volumes and styles of pieces, starting with a block of wax that is carved or has wax added as if it were a sculpture.

A bit of my story

Since I entered the Dr. Pedro Figari School of Arts in 2010, jewelry has held a central place in my life. I graduated in 2012 and, with my father's help, set up my first workshop at home. This is how @_Amaru.joyas was born, a brand that has grown with each piece.

In 2019, I decided to embark on a journey with no return date. For five years I lived and traveled, and had the opportunity to work in the world of high jewelry. In New Zealand, I was part of the Jens Hansen team, where I developed the Folding series and made numerous replicas of the famous Lord of the Rings ring. Then, in Australia, I worked in different workshops and later, in Mallorca, I independently launched the Ocean collection.

My nomadic time broadened my vision and knowledge of the world. I returned to Uruguay in 2025 with a renewed vision and the desire to take Amarú to a new stage.
I currently work independently in my workshop, with my ideas and my own schedule.
